Since Wolfe and the organization have been tight-lipped about his status, there was some question as to whether that scare would affect the 2012 second-rounder's football future.

Wolfe told KMGH Denver's Lionel Bienvenu on Wednesday that he will start training next week and plans to come back "bigger, faster, stronger" in 2014.

For the first time, Wolfe provided details of the seizure, which is believed to be related to a preseason spinal injury that required a stretcher and ambulance.

"I thought I was fully healed and I came back a little too soon and kept hitting it," Wolfe told Bienvenu. "It screwed up my nervous system a little bit -- crisscrossed the wires a little bit."

Wolfe said his nervous system "kinda shut down" on the team bus' route to the airport, leading defensive tackle Terence Knighton to yell, "Stop the bus! Stop the bus!"

When a dazed Wolfe woke up in the ICU 26 hours later, he broke the bed as nurses tried to hold him down.

Nearly three months removed from the hospitalization, Wolfe has regained 20 pounds and expects his career to resume as normal.

"I needed to let myself heal, so I took about two months and did nothing," Wolfe added. "I feel better than I ever felt before."
