Marc-Andre Fleury to don Steelers-themed NHL helmet

There will be at least one football presence when the NHL takes over Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears, on Saturday.

Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury will don a helmet painted to resemble that of the Pittsburgh Steelers when his team takes on the Chicago Blackhawks.

Fleury has spent his entire NHL career in Pittsburgh after being drafted No. 1 overall in 2003.

Designed by mask painter Stéphane Bergeron of Griff Airbrush, the helmet done in homage to Pittsburgh's most popular team is pretty dope (or sharp, as my father might say). The chinstrap and painted lips are somewhat creepy, but they do tell us one thing: He's not trying to mimic Brett Keisel.

Bergeron also painted the mask of Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford. Alas, the Chicago goalie had no reminder of Walter Payton, Mike Ditka or even Smokin' Jay Cutler.
