The legend of Chris Johnson lives on ... just barely.
Johnson -- who holds the NFL Scouting Combine record for the 40-yard dash -- got a legitimate scare in the form of Kent State running back Dri Archer, who ran his 40 in 4.26 seconds Sunday. That's two-hundredths of a second shy of the Tennessee Titans running back's time of 4.24 in 2007.
Johnson let out a big exhale on social media after Archer's time was official.
Can't lie archer had the boi nervousâ Chris Johnson (@ChrisJohnson28) February 23, 2014
NFL Network displayed the tweet during Sunday's live combine coverage, prompting this exchange between Rich Eisen and Mike Mayock over Johnson's preferred spelling of "boi."Mayock: Is that a typo?
Eisen: (In classic Eisen cadence) No, no, no. That is as he typed it.
