Every shifty running back in the past two decades has been compared to King Make-You-Miss, Barry Sanders.
Even on Sanders' former team, the Detroit Lions, Reggie Bush's style on occasion harkens back to the days when Barry bounced around the Pontiac Silverdome.
Sanders was asked last week in New York who he enjoys watching run the football in today's game.
His answer, surprisingly, is not one known for flashy plays: Lions running back Joique Bell.
"I think we're definitely lucky to have Joique," Sanders told MLive.com in a story posted Friday. "He has a great style. Physical. And he stays within himself. He's gotten a lot of great yards and really been an asset to the offense.
"He's carved out a niche for himself in this offense with Reggie Bush, and I really do enjoy watching him play. Great story."
Bell displays nimble feet, an ability to catch the ball and can create a crease when bottled up.
Sanders believes Bell, a restricted free agent, needs more touches to fully cultivate his prowess at the position.

"If you have that skill set he has, it's just about confidence and getting the reps in live action," Sanders said. "Developing the confidence of the coaching staff and getting the ball in situations. He's from a small school, but he can be great. He's a lot of fun to watch."
Bell has expressed a desire for a long-term deal to stay in Detroit. Barring an outrageous offer from another team -- unlikely, given the current market for running backs -- Bell will be back with the Lions in 2014.
The combination of Bell and Bush was dynamic for Detroit last season. They became the first running back duo in NFL history to each record at least 500 yards rushing and receiving in a single season.
