Georgia QB Aaron Murray tweets picture of himself throwing

Georgia QB Aaron Murray said he is planning to throw at Georgia's pro day in March.

Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray suffered a torn ACL on Nov. 23 and had surgery Nov. 26. Tuesday, he tweeted out a picture of himself throwing.

Murray, a four-year starter for the Bulldogs, holds SEC career records for passing yards (13,166) and TD passes (121), but his lack of size -- he measured 6-foot and 201 pounds at the weigh-in for the Reese's Senior Bowl -- has some teams wondering whether he can be a starter in the NFL.

Still, that he even showed up for the Senior Bowl weigh-in was impressive, considering he couldn't play in the game, and his supporters say that is an example of the intangibles he would bring to a team.

Murray said at the Senior Bowl that his plan was to throw at Georgia's pro day in March. That would be impressive, too, considering he would be performing for scouts about four months after having reconstructive surgery.

Murray is readying for the draft at the EXOS facility in Gulf Breeze, Fla., along with players such as South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, LSU safety wide receiver Jarvis Landry and North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron.
