Champ Bailey on Sherman: 'It's about what you do'

Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey has no problem with Richard Sherman's declaration that he is the best cornerback in the NFL.

"If you feel like you are the best, go ahead and say it," Bailey told NFL Network's Deion Sanders on Tuesday at Super Bowl XLVIII Media Day. "But, you know, I'm looking at your actions. It's not about what you say, it's about what you do. And, you know, if the guy's out there ballin' and he want to talk about it, go ahead. He's his own man. One thing about it, once they shine that light on you, you better be ready for it."

Bailey said he never worried about saying he is the best.

"I don't need to," he said. "My game speaks for itself."

"Is your game that loud?" Sanders interrupted to ask.

"Hey look, I'm still here, ain't I?" Bailey laughed. "Fifteen years, I'm still here, somebody must think it is."

The 12-time Pro Bowl cornerback has been one of the best defenders this millennium, whether he wants to say it or not.
