The mutual admiration society between quarterback Johnny Manziel and rapper Drake continues, though the attorneys at Texas A&M might be less than thrilled with this latest tribute.
Fresh off of hosting "Saturday Night Live," Drake posted pictures of himself to Instagram wearing a t-shirt that really looks like the maroon Aggies No. 2 jersey that Manziel made mandatory attire in College Station, Texas during his two brilliant seasons in college.
However, there are a few subtle differences, including a shout out to Drake's Topszn Regime: a maple leaf and "SZN" on the shoulders with "The Regime" across the back.
Texas A&M -- which had a memorable spat with the Seattle Seahawks over the use of the phrase "12th Man" -- might not think the shirts are different enough from its own intellectual property to let the Manziel-inspired apparel hit the open market.
Manziel became friends with Drake last year following his Heisman Trophy win as a redshirt freshman, with the projected top-five draft pick even sporting an "OVO" tattoo -- October's Very Own, for the uninitiated -- and breaking out the Topszn hand gesture after touchdowns this season.
