Alabama freshman cornerback Tony Brown was arrested Saturday night on charges of failure to obey and resisting arrest, according to TideSports.com.

Bail was set at $1,500, per the report, for Brown, who enrolled at UA earlier this month. A highly touted recruit from Beaumont, Texas, Brown turned down offers from LSU, Texas A&M and Texas to join the Crimson Tide.

Brown is rated as one of the nation's top recruits and is also a track star. Al.com reported Brown missed Saturday's season-opening indoor track and field meet due to a shoulder injury.

Nick Saban might cut loose on occasion, but there's little doubt about what his reaction will be to the news about Brown. The star freshman could quickly learn a hard lesson about crossing his head coach.
