Coach Pete Carroll told reporters that the dynamic pass-catcher did not participate in Wednesday's practice as the Seahawks prepare to face the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday's NFC Championship Game.

Carroll said Harvin will see doctors later in the day to assess his condition. Harvin must pass concussion protocol before he is cleared to play Sunday.

Here's the rest of the injury roundup for Championship Wednesday:

1. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady missed practice with an illness, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported. The Patriots meet the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.

2. Good news for Seattle: Linebacker K.J. Wright practiced Wednesday. Wright was playing phenomenally prior to breaking his foot in the previous meeting with the 49ers. Carroll called Wright "day to day," but added it looked "promising" that the linebacker would play. Marshawn Lynch did not practice. The team said it was not injury related.
