Chargers' Manti Te'o suffers concussion vs. Broncos

San Diego Chargers rookie Manti Te'o suffered a concussion during Sunday's 24-17 loss against the top-seeded Denver Broncos.

Te'o suffered the injury late in the first half after attempting to tackle Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno inside the 5-yard line.

The linebacker was taken to the locker room for evaluation and was ruled out shortly after.

The Chargers' defense also had two players go down in the secondary:

  1. Safety Marcus Gilchrist's suffered a shoulder injury and his return to the game was originally ruled as probable.
  1. Cornerback Chris Harris did not return due to a knee and ankle injury.
