Seahawks, Patriots face weather conditions at home

A quick weather update from the Around The League meteorology team.

(Note: We're actually leaning on Weather.com, but just be cool and roll with it.)

We'll start in Seattle, where there's a 70 percent chance of precipitation with winds up to 30 mph by kickoff of Seahawks and Saintsat 4:35 p.m. ET.

A tarp was kept on the field as rain fell overnight. The crew at CenturyLink Field used tractors to anchor the goal posts.

Things aren't much better in Foxborough, where the chance of precipitation for the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff between the Patriots and Colts stood at 100 percent this morning. Wind also will be an issue, with gusts up to 22 mph. Unseasonably warm tempertures hovering around 50 degrees will keep snowfall away.

NFL Media's Kimberly Jones is already on the soggy scene.

Two of the biggest games of the season will have weather conditions that could impact the action.
