Uko, a 6-foot-3, 275-pound redshirt junior, had 36 tackles, seven tackles for loss, five sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and two blocked kicks for the Trojans this season. Uko had 10 sacks in his two seasons as a starter, the latest in a line of disruptive interior lineman developed by former assistant coach Ed Orgeron.

NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah tweeted he was impressed by Uko's quickness in 2013.

Tennessee Titans breakout star Jurrell Casey, another Orgeron pupil, would be the best-case example of what Uko could provide at the next level: dominant pass-rush ability right up the middle.
