Rob Gronkowski's Sunday? At Whole Foods on scooter

Where does Gronk go when he goes away?

On the same afternoon Tom Brady was targeting a double-covered Austin Collie on the game-deciding play of the New England Patriots' 24-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins, injured tight end Rob Gronkowski was riding around his local Whole Foods on a motorized scooter.

Though we get a kick out of the nervous joy in the eyes of the boys to the right, it's hard not to look at the image and feel for Gronkowski. This is not where the man belongs on a Sunday in mid-December.

In other Gronkowski news, NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Monday that the tight end did not suffer a knee dislocation on the hit that tore his ACL and MCL last week.

Gronkowski is expected to undergo surgery in about two weeks and is waiting for the swelling in the area to subside. Gronk has been told he should be ready for the start of the 2014 season.

Get well soon, you big galoot.
