Colorado wide receiver Paul Richardson, one of the most explosive players in college football, announced Monday he will enter the 2014 NFL Draft.
Richardson, a 6-foot-1, 170-pound redshirt junior from Los Angeles, caught 20 touchdowns with the Buffaloes, averaging 41.8 yards on those scoring strikes. Richardson had 79 receptions for 1,289 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, with seven scores of at least 53 yards, even after missing the 2012 season with a torn ACL.
And while his speed and underrated route running allowed him to dominate for downtrodden Colorado, Richardson insists he can add weight to handle the rigors of playing on Sundays.
"I can get faster, bigger and stronger overall," Richardson told the Denver Post. "I want to do what it takes to move up in the draft."
