UCLA offensive lineman Torian White was arrested Sunday on suspicion of sexual assault, the school confirmed in a statement.

White was arrested by campus police early Sunday morning at an apartment complex near campus. Prosecutors have initially declined to file charges.

"No charges have been filed," said Jane Robison, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. "We asked for more investigation."

White has been suspended indefinitely from all team activities, Bruins head coach Jim Mora said.

"We are aware of the situation involving Torian White, and we take these accusations very seriously," Mora said in a statement.

White started all 14 games at left tackle last season and the first four games of this season before suffering a season-ending broken ankle in a 34-27 win at Utah.
