A look at the top 10 performances by wide receivers from Week 12:
10. Isiah Myers, Washington State
The key stats: Game-winning 25-yard reception with 2:15 remaining at Arizona.
The buzz: The Cougars picked up their fifth win of the season and can now become bowl eligible by defeating either Utah or Apple Cup rival Washington in their final two regular-season games.
9. Allen Robinson, Penn State
The key stats: Eight receptions for 98 yards in a win over Purdue.
The buzz: Robinson broke his own Nittany Lions single-season record for receptions and is now up to 81 catches this season, while also extending his school mark for receiving yards in a season (1,204).
8. Damore'ea Stringfellow, Washington
The key stats: Eight receptions for 147 yards and one touchdown in a loss at UCLA.
The buzz: With Kasen Williams out for the season, Stringfellow ably stepped in and posted career-highs in catches and receiving yards along with his first career touchdown. A big body (6-foot-3, 225 pounds) with good speed, Stringfellow will be a foundation of the Huskies offense in seasons to come.
7. Sammy Watkins, Clemson
The key stats: Five receptions for 104 yards and two touchdowns in a loss over Georgia Tech.
The buzz: Watkins was his usual electric self in what was likely his final ACC home game, scoring on 41- and 44-yard catches in a 55-31 win over Georgia Tech.
6. Tyler Lockett, Kansas State
The key stats: Eight receptions for 123 yards and one touchdown in a win over TCU.
The buzz: Lockett scored on a 74-yard pass in the first quarter and caught two passes to set up the game-winning field goal with three seconds remaining in a 33-31 win over TCU. It was the Wildcats' fourth straight win and secured bowl eligibility.
5. Mekale McKay, Cincinnati
The key stats: Three receptions for 124 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Rutgers.
The buzz: McKay posted a new career-high in receiving yards and touchdown receptions to give the Bearcats an outside shot at the American Athletic Conference championship.
4. Jordan Matthews, Vanderbilt
The key stats: 12 receptions for 141 yards in a win over Kentucky.
The buzz: Matthews became the only player in Commodores history to post multiple seasons with 1,000 receiving yards. The win made Vanderbilt bowl eligible for the third consecutive season under head coach James Franklin.
3. Da'Ron Brown, Northern Illinois
The key stats: Eight receptions for 209 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Ball State.
The buzz: Brown and Huskies quarterback Jordan Lynch formed a potent connection on Wednesday night, as NIU remained undefeated and in position to reach a BCS bowl for the second consecutive season.
2. J.J. Worton, UCF
The key stats: 10 receptions for 179 yards and three touchdowns in a win at Temple.
The buzz: While it would be overshadowed by events on the Plains, Worton had his own incredible late-game touchdown catch to keep BCS bowl and conference championship hopes alive. Worton made a sprawling one-handed grab on a 30-yard pass from quarterback Blake Bortles with 1:06 remaining to tie the game at 36-36, and the Golden Knights would get a field goal with no time remaining to stay unbeaten in the American.
1. Ricardo Louis, Auburn
The key stats: Four receptions for 131 yards and one touchdown, five carries for 66 yards in a win over Georgia.
The buzz: Louis' miracle catch gave the Tigers a 43-38 win over Georgia, setting up what could be most important Iron Bowl of all time on Nov. 30. A spot in the SEC championship will be on the line when the bitter in-state rivals meet, while the winner will also be in excellent position to play for the BCS championship.
