"It was a bad outing, but I can put it behind me and move forward," Bullock said, per the Houston Chronicle.
Whether or not he'll be allowed to move forward with the Texans remains to be seen.
The Chronicle's John McClain reports that the Texans are bringing in three veteran kickers for a tryout: Neil Rackers, Shayne Graham and Justin Medlock. Rackers and Graham previously have kicked for Houston.
The tryout is a signal to Bullock to improve or he'll be given his walking papers. The 2012 fifth-round draft pick is 13 for 21 on field-goal attempts, and he's 0 for 4 on attempts of 50 yards or longer.
With the Texans' season spiraling out of control, there is a chance they let the strong-legged kicker work through these growing pains. However, it looked evident in the Week 9 loss to the Indianapolis Colts that he wanted no part of the 55-yard game-tying field-goal attempt, before yanking it wide left.
