It appears that C.J. Spiller is on track to play this week.
The Buffalo Bills running back, who has been battling an ankle injury, practiced Wednesday and Thursday for the first time in two weeks, on a limited basis. Spiller missed last week's game against the New Orleans Saints.
Bills coach Doug Marrone, during his weekly radio spot with WGR-AM, said both Spiller and linebacker Manny Lawson "should be good to go" Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, per the team's official Twitter account.
"Everything is coming back just like we planned, so that's why coach listed me as probable," Spiller told the Bills' official website. "We've had great discussions this whole week about seeing how it's feeling and how it's reacting. Everything has been on schedule so it's definitely starting to come back to what I'm accustomed to."
Spiller wanted to play last week, but rest was needed to get him back as healthy as possible for the stretch run. The Bills hope one week was enough.
