"(Backup) Matt (Barkley) is healthy, so that's a positive," Kelly told WIP-FM on Monday. "I would think Mike would not be ready to go, and it depends on where Nick (Foles) is (with his concussion). So we'll know early in the week which two guys we got to prepare for, one and two."
We don't expect to see Vick this Sunday -- or even the next -- after he told reporters following the Giants game: "I've never had a hamstring injury this bad."
Vick has become entirely unreliable from a durability standpoint.
For Philly (3-5) to stand a chance in the NFC East, Kelly needs one of his quarterbacks to step in and stay healthy. In a perfect world, that would be Vick. In this world, we're looking at a quarterback with just a handful of games left before his Eagles career is a wrap.
