Michael Vick exits Philadelphia Eagles' loss to Giants

Michael Vick's return to the Philadelphia Eagles' lineup didn't last long. Matt Barkley entered Sunday's game against the New York Giants late in the second quarter after Vick aggravated his hamstring injury early in the contest. Vick officially was announced as questionable to return, but he did not return to the Eagles' 15-7 loss.

Vick was seen warming up on an exercise bike after only one drive. After that, he moved gingerly on the field for a few ineffective drives. The Eagles eventually decided to take Vick out of the game. He had a towel over his head on the bench as Barkley entered the game with Philadelphia down 12-0.

Before leaving the game, Vick did not play well. He threw an interception on the Eagles' first drive of the game, fumbled the ball on the second drive and took a costly intentional grounding penalty.

Eagles backup quarterback Nick Foles was inactive for the game because of a concussion.
