We're getting close to a point where we need a whole separate website for bad news about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The news comes on the same day the Tampa Bay Times reported the Bucs were concerned about Williams' health and had questions whether he could continue playing.
Humans don't play wide receiver with torn hamstrings, so expect Williams to face a lengthy down period. Given the Bucs' woeful 0-7 state, Williams might be shut down for the balance of the season.
If Williams is moved to injured reserve, it will close the books on the first year of the six-year, $40.25 million contract extension he signed in the offseason. Like so many things Bucs-related in 2013, it will be remembered as a disappointment.
