Report: Denver Broncos' Ronnie Hillman to sit Week 8

Ronnie Hillman's ball-security issues have earned him penthouse arrangements in John Fox's doghouse.

The Denver Post reported Friday that Hillman will not dress when the Broncos host the Washington Redskinson Sunday. Running back C.J. Anderson will be active in Hillman's place.

The decision comes after a Hillman fumble imploded a Broncos comeback attempt in their 39-33 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night. Ball security was an issue for Hillman during the preseason, and fumbles in back-to-back weeks have all but sealed his reputation as A Guy Who Can't Be Trusted.

Anderson will slot behind Knowshon Moreno and Montee Ball on Sunday. It might take injuries along the depth chart for Hillman to get his shot at redemption.
