Only the best: Six videos that explain Week 4

Each week on "Only the Best," we highlight some of the best plays, performances and moments from the previous Sunday.

For most of Sunday's game, Marshawn Lynch was the only effective part of the Seattle Seahawks' offense. With the offensive line struggling to pass protect, Lynch is more valuable to the team than ever.

Russell Wilson's ability to scramble also is more important than ever. He doesn't want to run unless he absolutely has to. And Wilson had to late in Sunday's win over the Houston Texans, as he made a number of great plays with his feet during an epic 98-yard drive. If Wilson doesn't elude defenders on a fourth down near the goal line in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks don't win that game. I'm not sure if any other quarterback in the league makes that play.

I love writing this column because it allows me to point out ridiculous plays that you might not have otherwise seen. Presenting Detroit Lions running back Joique Bell, tackling two Chicago Bears at the same time to save a touchdown in the 40-32 win. This play gets better the more you watch it. The second replay angle is outstanding; it's like he's roping calves.

There's more to the Buffalo Bills' rookie class than just EJ Manuel. It remains to be seen whether or not Manuel is a quality starting quarterback, but I'm already convinced that Robert Woods is going to be a quality starting wide receiver. (And linebacker Kiko Alonso looks great, too.)

Philip Rivers continues to play at a ridiculously high level. Accuracy is the most important quarterback trait, and no quarterback is more accurate right now than Rivers. (Except for that Manning fella.)

The NFL league office would like to formally thank Adrian Peterson for giving the London crowd a great show for once. (Note: I have no authority to speak for the league office, and a shadowy league figure now is approaching my desk. Good bye.)
