Johnny Manziel reportedly questioned for hours by NCAA

Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M was questioned for hours Sunday by NCAA investigators about allegations that he was paid by memorabilia dealers for autographs, ESPN reported early Tuesday.

The report, which cited a source familiar with the investigation, said officials for the governing body met with the sophomore quarterback for nearly six hours on the school's campus.

Texas A&M's season opener is Saturday, at home against Rice.

The Aggies have a news conference scheduled for today. Texas A&M senior associate athletic director Jason Cook tweeted Monday that there will be no official comment about Manziel's status.
