Vikings' Sharrif Floyd's MRI showed no damage to knee

MANKATO, Minn. -- Minnesota Vikings rookie defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd says an MRI on Sunday showed no damage to his left knee.

Floyd says he's ready to return to practice whenever the coaching and medical staff gives him the OK and there's "no worries" on his part.

Vikings coach Leslie Frazier wanted the MRI because Floyd felt soreness and to "err on the side of caution" after the 2013 first-round draft pick was injured in the second quarter of a 27-13 preseason loss to the Texans on Friday night.

Floyd was on the field for Sunday's morning walk-through but didn't participate. He had a tackle for a loss and deflected one pass against the Texans.
