Packers' Bryan Bulaga believed to have torn ACL

The Green Bay Packers dramatically reshaped their offensive line this offseason in hopes of improving Aaron Rodgers' protection. They might have to change plans again.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Monday morning that left tackle Bryan Bulaga is believed to have a torn ACL, according to a source informed of the injury. Bulaga suffered the injury during Saturday's intrasquad scrimmage. There is concern the injury could be season-ending.

The news comes out of nowhere because Bulaga was able to finish the scrimmage. Bulaga was moved from right tackle to left tackle this offseason, and his transition reportedly was going well. Bulaga has missed 11 games over the last two seasons due to injury.

If Bulaga is out for a while, the team might move last year's starter, Marshall Newhouse, back to left tackle. The Packers also might keep Newhouse competing at right tackle and move Don Barclay to the left side.

Pass protection was a huge problem for the Packers last season. Losing Bulaga again would make it feel like 2012 all over again.
