Donald Jones scheduled to work out for Titans, Colts

The New England Patriots had their fill of wide receiver Donald Jones, but the fourth-year pro might not be unemployed for long.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that Jones was heading to Tennessee on Tuesday to work out for the Titans. Jones is scheduled to visit the Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday. Rapoport also was told that three additional teams were lining up visits with Jones, per a source informed of the receiver's plans.

This came less than one week after the Patriots released Jones, reportedly in an effort to give their younger receivers more reps in training camp.

Making a dent in the Titans' roster will be a challenge for Jones. Kenny Britt, Nate Washington and Kendall Wright head up a crowded pass-catching group, with Kevin Walter and rookie Justin Hunter in support.

The Colts are a more realistic option with LaVon Brazill facing a four-game suspension to start the season, but Jones doesn't loom as starting material for either team.
