Trent Richardson says he'll be ready for Browns camp

Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson expects to be ready when training camp starts next week.

The second-year pro told The Plain Dealer on Tuesday that he's 100 percent healthy after suffering a muscle strain in his right shin and missing organized team activities.

"I'll be full-go right from the get-go and y'all out there will see me flying around," he said. "I can't wait to get out there and I can't wait for the first game. I've been waiting forever for this season and I know it's going to be a good one for us."

Richardson said he's experienced no pain while doing sprinting and a lot of "quick-twitch" drills while prepping for camp at his home in Pensacola, Fla.

Richardson racked up 950 yards and 11 touchdowns during an injury-plagued rookie season. If he's as healthy as he insists -- and stays that way -- he'll undoubtedly be one of the NFL's best backs in 2013.
