Wake tallied a career-high 15 sacks and three forced fumbles, earning first-team All-Pro honors for the first time last season.
"I wouldn't trade Cam Wake for anybody in our league," Coyle recently told the Dolphins' official website. "He's a joy to coach. He works at it mentally, he's strong against the run, dynamic pass rusher, intelligent football player, can cover guys when we do put him into coverage. He's a guy that can run with backs, tight ends, shoot, he can run with some receivers out there. He's a dynamic player, and we're so fortunate to have him."
Hyperbole? Wake led all defensive ends in combined sacks, hits and hurries last season, according to Pro Football Focus. His career average of .915 sacks per start is the best among active players (Wake started just one of 14 games in his first season with the Dolphins in 2009).
