The Jacksonville Jaguars list fifth-round draft pick Denard Robinson as a running back, but there's still some confusion about his role after he started at quarterback for three seasons at Michigan.
If Robinson has his way, he will take on the old Kordell Stewart "Slash" role as wide receiver, running back, occasional quarterback and special-teamer.

Asked Friday if he remembered Stewart's career, Robinson responded: "Come on. I watched it. He said he's a 'Slash.' He said he can put me at anywhere. That's what I want to do. I want to be somebody that fits in to the team and being one of the team players."
Friday's rookie minicamp suggests Robinson indeed will play multiple roles for the Jaguars, as he lined up at running back, fullback and wide receiver.
Even if it's impossible to gauge rookie tailbacks and receivers in non-contact drills, it's worth noting Robinson stole the show Friday with two long runs on a sloppy, rain-soaked field.
"He was good," Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said, via the team's official website. "We're throwing a lot at him."
It appears the Jaguars are preparing Robinson, who Friday night will fly back to Michigan for the school's graduation ceremony Sunday, for a big role this season as a returner and wild-card offensive playmaker.
