Baltimore Ravens 2013 first-round mock draft

How analysts are projecting the first-round picks for the Baltimore Ravens in the 2013 NFL Draft:

Matt "Money" Smith

No. 32: Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame

It was either the Bears at No. 20 or here for Te'o. With Ogletree slipping to 20, I'll suggest Te'o slips to 32. It's a classic Ravens pick. Snatch up the guy everyone else has passed on for reasons not applicable to the action on the field, and see it bear fruit.

Charles Davis

No. 32: Keenan Allen, WR, California

Allen is the receiver prospect most often compared to the recently traded Anquan Boldin. The 40-yard dash was slow at his pro day, but he's coming off knee surgery. Coaches who went against Allen all vouch for him in a big way.

Daniel Jeremiah

No. 32: Matt Elam, FS, Florida

Elam might lack ideal size, but he's an instinctive and explosive football player. The Ravens lost both starting safeties this offseason, and Elam seems like their type of defender.

Bucky Brooks

No. 32: Matt Elam, FS, Florida

GM Ozzie Newsome has a knack for finding productive players at the end of the first round. Though Elam lacks ideal size for the safety position, he is a hard-nosed, physical player with excellent instincts.

Akbar Gbajabiamila

No. 32: Robert Alford, CB, Southeastern Louisiana

Both Ricky Jean Francois and Isaac Sopoaga left in free agency. The Niners should pursue an interior force with athleticism in the middle of the defense.
» Full mock draft

Gil Brandt

No. 32: Matt Elam, FS, Florida

The Ravens need a safety to replace departed veteran Ed Reed. Elam doesn't have the ideal height (5-10), but he's a really good player with solid range. He has nice athletic ability, and he'll tackle, too.

Charley Casserly

No. 32: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU

With Ray Lewis and Dannell Ellerbe gone, the athletic Minter fills a hole on the inside.
» Full mock draft

Josh Norris

No. 32: Kevin Minter, ILB, LSU

GM Ozzie Newsome highly values the middle section of his defense. After losing both inside linebackers, Minter would offer consistency at one of those spots.
