Tennessee Titans 2013 first-round mock draft

How NFL.com analysts are projecting the first-round picks for the Tennessee Titans in the 2013 NFL Draft:

Matt "Money" Smith

No. 10: Jonathan Cooper, G, North Carolina

They signed guard Andy Levitre to a huge deal in free agency, but this is a team that wants to run the ball a bunch. Adding Cooper will help get Chris Johnson back to the level we were accustomed to seeing.

Charles Davis

No. 10: Jonathan Cooper, G, North Carolina

My top-ranked offensive guard in this draft heads to Nashville to help young QB Jake Locker continue to develop.

Daniel Jeremiah

No. 10: Jonathan Cooper, G, North Carolina

Though the Titans added Andy Levitre in free agency, I still see them drafting offensive linemen. Cooper gets the nod over Chance Warmack because of his athletic ability and positional flexibility (some teams believe his best spot is at center).

Bucky Brooks

No. 10: Star Lotulelei, DE, Utah

The Titans' defense has been weak in the middle since Albert Haynesworth departed years ago. Lotulelei is a disruptive force with the strength and power to own the point of attack between the tackles.

Akbar Gbajabiamila

No. 10: Chance Warmack, G, Alabama

The Titans ranked 21st in rushing offense last season, partly due to the unsatisfactory play of the interior line. Warmack is highly competitive and instantly brings interior toughness.

Gil Brandt

No. 10: Chance Warmack, G, Alabama

Warmack doesn't run real fast and doesn't lift a lot, but he has great, great explosion. He doesn't just block his man; he gets to the second level. After a good showing at the combine, Warmack performed very well in a long workout at Alabama's Pro Day. I think he'll be around for many, many years.

Charley Casserly

No. 10: Jonathan Cooper, G, North Carolina

This UNC product is more athletic than vaunted Alabama guard Chance Warmack.
» Full mock draft

Josh Norris

No. 10: Kenny Vaccaro, SS, Texas

Guard was a popular projection here prior to the Andy Levitre acquisition, but unless the Titans draft Jonathan Cooper to play center, I believe safety is a position they fill early in April's draft.
