How NFL.com analysts are projecting the first-round picks for the Oakland Raiders in the 2013 NFL Draft:

Matt "Money" Smith

No. 3: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida

This one isn't changing. With a kicker and an oft-injured running back as the only first-round selections on the roster, play it safe, Oakland. Go with the most dominant defensive player on the board, and cross your fingers in hopes that the Jags don't snatch him up first.

Charles Davis

No. 3: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida

The only GM to attend Floyd's pro day? Oakland's Reggie McKenzie. Could mean nothing, could mean Floyd's the pick. Obviously, I'm feeling the latter.

Daniel Jeremiah

No. 3: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida

Floyd is a very disruptive defender against the run and the pass. I love the fact that he has both a high ceiling and a high floor. This is a safe, solid choice for the Raiders.

Bucky Brooks

No. 3: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida

The Raiders' defense needs impact players along the front line. Floyd is an explosive interior defender who can play the one- or three-technique in a four-man front.

Akbar Gbajabiamila

No. 3: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida

After releasing Tommy Kelly, the Raiders have an opportunity to draft a difference maker at defensive tackle in the first round, something they haven't attempted since taking Darrell Russell in 1997.

Gil Brandt

No. 3: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida

I'm not as high on Floyd as some others are. A lot of people liken this guy to Warren Sapp, but I don't see that kind of quickness in him. I do, however, see strength and playmaking ability. Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie was at Floyd's workout last week. I could also see the Raiders going with Geno Smith here.

Charley Casserly

No. 3: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida

Floyd is a fantastic building block to help rebuild the Raiders' defensive line.

Josh Norris

No. 3: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida

With the losses of Richard Seymour and Desmond Bryant, as well as the likely release of Tommy Kelly, GM Reggie McKenzie needs someone to start on the D-line. Many consider Floyd a top-five prospect.
