Matt Leinart and Brady Quinn will join Seneca Wallace and Tyler Thigpen in an upcoming two-day workout/visit with the Seahawks, USA Today reported Sunday.

Leinart obviously has ties to Seahawks coach Pete Carroll from their USC days, but the ex-Heisman Trophy winner has started just two games since the 2007 season.

Wallace spent his first seven NFL seasons on the Seahawks, only to be traded two months after Carroll was named head coach.

Wallace and Thigpen have the mobility to run the read-option in a pinch if Russell Wilson goes down. Although Thigpen isn't a household name, he might be the favorite to sign on as Wilson's backup. He ran an option offense at Coastal Carolina and a pistol attack with the Kansas City Chiefs back in 2008.
