The Kansas City Chiefs had perfect attendance on the opening of voluntary workouts on Monday, save for one notable absence.
Albert's absence is notable considering the uncertain nature of his future in Kansas City. With the Chiefs likely setting their sights on Luke Joeckel or Eric Fisher with the first overall draft pick, Albert's days at left tackle are numbered. He has been vocal in his wish not to flip to the right side.
The Chiefs are looking for a second-round pick in return for Albert, a five-year starter who was the 15th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. It would be a surprise if the Chiefs failed to unload him before they're on the clock next month at Radio City Music Hall.
