Adrian Peterson equates Harvin trade to stomach kick

You can argue the Minnesota Vikings made the move they had to on Monday, trading the talented-but-troublesome Percy Harvin to the Seattle Seahawks for two draft picks.

Necessary decision or not, it hurts to cut ties with a playmaker as young and dynamic as Harvin. Reigning league MVP Adrian Peterson can attest to that.

Peterson already had been on record in his belief that Harvin is one of the NFL's best players. You might remember his eye-opening take on Harvin back in October:

"I know talent," Peterson told the Star Tribune. "I can watch Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen and see the difference."

"There are two Jordans on this team. I'm not trying to be cocky. I'm just very confident in my abilities."

And now the Vikings are down to just one Jordan. Peterson appropriately is discouraged given his opinion on a now former teammate.
