The Pittsburgh Steelers have restructured wide receiver Antonio Brown's contract, a source who has seen the deal said Wednesday, giving the team more than $3 million in cap space.

Brown now has a base salary of $650,000 and will receive a $3.85 million signing bonus, which will be spread out over the balance of the five-year deal.
Brown isn't the only player having his contract restructured for the cap-strapped Steelers. Linebacker LaMarr Woodley, who is owed $9 million in 2013, also is in line to have his deal restructured, ESPN reported Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the Steelers restructured veteran linebacker Lawrence Timmons' contract, freeing up approximately $5 million in salary-cap space.
