NFL.com's Ian Rapoport told "NFL Total Access" on Wednesday he would "be surprised if Jennings returned to Green Bay," based on talks he's had with people around the league.
So what's next for the 29-year-old receiver?
Rapoport mentioned the Minnesota Vikings as a possible landing spot. Beyond adding intrigue to the annual Vikings-Packers wars, the addition of Jennings would give quarterback Christian Ponder a serious threat across from Percy Harvin.
But a move to the Packers' NFC North rival might not be Jennings' only option.
Rapoport noted that Jennings recently staged an interview with a Miami radio station, and said, "Hey, Joe, Remember me?"
Jennings isn't likely to command a premier contract after struggling through this season with a host of injuries, but his productive track record will garner attention. The Dolphins need targets for Ryan Tannehill, and Jennings is a known commodity for Philbin.
