Ryan Clady reportedly to have right shoulder surgery

Denver Broncos offensive tackle Ryan Clady will undergo surgery on his injured right shoulder, sources told the Denver Post's Mike Klis.

Clady is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent, though the Broncos won't let him walk. He can be franchised at $9.66 million for 2013 or signed to a long-term deal that should average upward of $10 million per year.

Clady has become one of the top tackles in the NFL after being drafted No. 12 overall in 2008. He's a three-time Pro Bowl selection, two-time first-team All-Pro and has started all 80 games since he entered the league.

The surgery is expected to keep Clady out most of the offseason, but he should be ready for the 2013 season opener, according to Klis.
