The Tennessean reported Sunday that Britt drove his injured brother to the Jersey City Medical Center early Sunday morning. Police said Britt was not cooperative when they tried to talk to him about the events that led to the stabbing.

"We are looking to speak to Mr. Britt in reference to the incident," Jersey City Police Capt. Edgar Martinez said. "We are currently in the process of trying to do that."
Police believe Britt was at a party when his brother suffered non-life threatening injuries to the left side of his back. Britt's brother also is being uncooperative with authorities. Police also said a gunshot was heard near the house when Britt's brother was stabbed.
Britt's agent, Bill Johnson, told The Tennessean he was unaware of the incident. Police refused to name the victim but said the victim's parents confirmed he was Britt's brother.
This becomes Britt's ninth known incident involving the police since he entered the NFL in 2009. He has made two separate visits to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to discuss his off-the-field behavior.
