The Jacksonville Jaguars will interview defensive coordinator and assistant head coach Mel Tucker for the team's head-coaching vacancy, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Saturday. Tucker filled in as interim coach in 2011 after Jack Del Rio was fired. New general manager David Caldwell fired Mike Mularkey this week after just one season.
NFL.com's Steve Wyche reported, citing a source with knowledge of Tucker's plans, that the interview is scheduled for Monday.
Note: Tucker ran a 3-4 as coordinator of the Browns and a 4-3 in Jacksonville this season.
