ATL Buzz Report: Where Andy Reid is always cold

Each week, Dan Hanzus sifts through the pro football landscape to bring you sublime subplots of NFL life. Some of it he loves. Some he does not. Other stuff, he can't quite decide. The ATL Buzz Report.

1. Gruden forever

America wins with Jon Gruden likely back in the booth in 2013. Chucky's blend of football smarts and unintentional comedy is unprecedented. Good times.

2. AP is the bionic man

Adrian Peterson "defied all odds" in his knee recovery. So says Dr. James Andrews, who you might have heard is a noted orthopedist surgeon.

3. Everything in its right place

Andy Reid and frigid Kansas City are a perfect fit for each other. Picturing the burly coach wearing polo shirts in the sunny Arizona desert just didn't feel right.

4. Rex's awkward ink

Rex Ryan's tattoo of his wife in a No. 6 Mark Sanchez jersey is equal parts fascinating, weird and depressing. Worst Bahamas vacation ever.

5. Aa-Rod plays favorites

Aaron Rodgers said "you got to go with the quarterback" when selecting an MVP. Adrian Peterson now will run for 600 yards and 12 TDs on Saturday.

6. Jennings clearly wants out

Greg Jennings -- in full disconnect mode -- says he'd rather play indoors than the frozen Lambeau tundra. Crazy talk that could earn a bratwurst pelting.

7. Romo's latest indignity

Most cringeworthy moment of the week goes to RG3 consoling Tony Romo after Dallas' latest gag job. Nice gesture by the rook, but it's more Romo emasculation.

8. Kick the bucket?

The 49ers will have either David Akers (aka Mr. 69 Percent) or Billy "Wide, Wide, Wide Left" Cundiff as their kicker in the playoffs. This can't possibly end well.
