Dirk Koetter's name sits atop the list of NFL assistant coaches certain to draw interest as head-coaching vacancies pop up around the league.
Fox Sports.com's Alex Marvez reported Monday that the Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator will be busy during the team's playoff bye week after lining up interviews for the Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns' head-coaching jobs.

Koetter, who also oversaw the Jacksonville Jaguars' offense from 2007 to 2011, is a proponent of the no-huddle attack, but that also requires a gifted signal-caller to operate the show. Many of the teams searching for a new coach don't have one of those on the roster.
As job openings mount, this is turning into a beautiful winter for proven assistants -- like Koetter -- to take the next step.
