Jackson, 29, finished with 1,042 yards, becoming the sixth player in NFL history to post eight consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. Jackson averaged 4.1 yards per carry on 257 touches, proving nearly 2,400 career carries haven't sapped him of his ability.
Jackson is expected to void the $7 million player option remaining on his Rams contract to test the open market. Jackson no longer is a workhorse, but he can be an ideal complementary back in the right system.
