RG3 reportedly OK to start for Washington Redskins

The least surprising news of the weekend has arrived: Robert Griffin III has been cleared to start Sunday by doctors, according to ESPN.

The Washington Redskins listed RG3 as probable on the injury report, which means there absolutely was no doubt about his status. Probable officially means "virtual certainty" to start. The Redskins could have been in trouble with the NFL if Griffin didn't start. In short, he already was cleared or the team knew he would be cleared well before Saturday.

Griffin fully practiced all week and is not expected to be limited at all Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Philly's defensive line has played better over the last couple of weeks and could give Washington'sd offense some trouble. The Redskins will claim the NFC East if they win their final two games.
