The one-week run of The Kirk Cousins Show might not get a second act.
The Redskins starting quarterback planted on his injured leg, threw the ball to receivers and rolled out repeatedly, according to the newspaper.
RG3 told reporters he practiced fully, saying, "I'm ready to play whenever they want me to play. Now if it's this week, next week -- a couple weeks -- whatever they say goes, so I'll be ready."
"He took all the reps, most of the reps," coach Mike Shanahan said. "But we never talk about reps anyhow, right?"
"I think I just need to prove it on the field," Griffin said. "When I'm out here running around, doing all the plays and getting the reps, that's when they'll see. And then it's just up to them to decide."
RG3 also participated in drills last week, drawing similar glowing reports, but was ultimately deactivated against the Browns. With another week of rest, Griffin appears ready to lead the 8-6 Redskins into this pivotal NFC East battle. We'll find out soon enough if the Redskins agree.
