"Now we have a little bit tougher task; we have Kirk (Cousins) starting," Garcon said during a SportsCenter appearance on ESPN. "We have to play well around Kirk so Kirk doesn't feel like he has to try to save the team. We have to help him to be as comfortable as possible."
Coach Mike Shanahan was emphatic Monday that Robert Griffin III hadn't been ruled out of Sunday's game with a Grade 1 lateral collateral ligament sprain. Garcon quickly clarified himself when reminded Griffin isn't officially out.
"We have to prepare for the worst," Garcon said.
Not to go all C&C Music Factory, but hhmmmnn... Garcon sure sounded confident in his words before ESPN anchor Bram Weinstein gave him the reminder. Even then, Garcon grinned as he talked about preparing for the worse.
Seems like Garcon knows something.
