Dennis Allen flew to Texas after Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns. The Raiders have begun preparation for Thursday night's prime-time tilt against the Denver Broncos without Allen, but the team said Allen expects to coach the game.

The Raiders had begun preparation for the Broncos without Allen. The coaches worked up a Broncos scouting report last week in anticipation of the game.

"As far as the management of practice itself, the only additional change is I'll have to say, 'Blow the horn,' and then we'll go on to the next period," Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Knapp told the Oakland Tribune on Monday. "Otherwise we're going to be working as we normally would in practice."

The Raiders (3-9) are in the midst of a five-game losing streak. The Broncos won the first meeting, 37-6, in Week 4.

"Things will be different because obviously we'll be caring about his situation, just wondering what's going on," cornerback Michael Huff said Monday. "But we know we have a game to get ready for. We'll be worried about him, but I think we'll still walk on the field and focus."
