Michael Vick could be done for the season.
The Eagles should be extra cautious with Vick, considering their situation. It's not like they have a shot at the playoffs. The organization wants to know what it has in rookie quarterback Nick Foles anyway. And if Vick is part of the tear-down process that included cutting Jason Babin and the probable firing of coach Andy Reid, there's no need to risk another injury by playing the quarterback in meaningless games.
(And not that an NFL team would ever jockey for draft position, but the rookie quarterback probably gives you a better pick.)
The 2012 season is over for the Eagles. It's time to look ahead, and playing Vick is pointless.
UPDATE: The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane reported that Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder denied Vick has regressed in his concussion recovery. Burkholder said Vick has plateaued.
Either way, Vick failed to pass another concussion test Friday, won't play Sunday and shouldn't return anytime soon.
