The Minnesota Vikings wide receiver missed practice Thursday with an ankle sprain, the Star Tribune reported. Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said he'd like to see Harvin practice once this week if he's going to play. The last opportunity for that is Friday.
Harvin sprained his ankle during a Nov. 4 game against the Seattle Seahawks and missed the Week 10 matchup against the Detroit Lions. Harvin was having one of the best years of his career and even was part of the early MVP conversation. He has 62 catches, 677 receiving yards and five total touchdowns.
UPDATE: Harvin warmed up for Friday's practice but left the field before individual drills started, Brian Murphy of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported. Frazier said Harvin couldn't put a lot of weight on his sprained ankle, and the receiver will be listed as doubtful for Sunday's game.
